If you're still using Excel 2008 for Mac, you can download Solver for Excel 2008. When your model gets to big for the free add-in contact us about upgrading. StatPlus:Mac LE is a separate Mac application controlled from Excel by AppleScript. Download it, double-click the zip file, double-click the dmg file, and install it like any other Mac application. It does not appear in Excel's add-in manager.
Attention, Internet Explorer User Announcement: Jive has discontinued support for Internet Explorer 7 and below. Establish medical decisions levels with ROC curves and reference intervals (reference range). Transform Excel into a first-class time series software and econometric tool. Use accurate statistical calculations comparable to ones offered by other elite statistical packages. Apply scores of econometric functions, a rich set of shortcuts, and intuitive user interfaces to guide you through the entire process. An Excel statistics add in that was developed in a teaching environment but is also intended for serious applied work as a complement or substitute for other linear regression software.
It performs multivariate descriptive data analysis and multiple linear regression, and it offers a number of features that are designed to promote good modeling practices and high-bandwidth communication. The output for each descriptive analysis or regression model is stored on a separate worksheet within the same workbook. All chart output is presentation-quality and in native Excel format that can be edited, and all table output is intelligently formatted to show enough decimal places of precision but not too many. The descriptive analysis procedure can draw very detailed scatterplot matrices (each element of which is a separate chart that may include a regression line and center-of-mass point) and parallel time series plots of many variables, in addition to summary statistics and correlation matrices. The regression procedure makes it simple to explore variations on previously fitted models, it provides ample chart output with good support for testing model assumptions, and it offers several options for generating out-of-sample forecasts. A separate variable transformation procedure makes it easy to apply nonlinear and time transformations to variables in a systematic way. The program also includes a number of audit trail features (date/time/username stamps on all worksheets, unique model names in all table and chart titles, and an additional worksheet with side-by-side comparisons of models) that help to organize and authenticate the results of fitting many models to the same data.
SigmaXL is a leading provider of user friendly Excel add-in tools for statistical and graphical analysis. Our flagship product, SigmaXL was designed from the ground up to be cost-effective, powerful, and easy to use. It allows users to measure, analyze, improve, and control their service, transactional and manufacturing process. As an add-in to the already familiar Microsoft Excel, SigmaXL is ideal for Six Sigma training and is used by leading consultants. It is rapidly becoming the tool of choice for Six Sigma professionals. SPC XL is a Microsoft Excel add-in which adds powerful yet easy-to-use statistical analysis features.
From within Excel you will be able to access many statistical tools including Control Charts, Cpk analysis, Histograms, Pareto Diagrams, MSA, Regression, Hypothesis Testing, and much more. Whether your needs are for Six Sigma, DFSS, ISO 9000, or general use, SPC XL is the tool for statistical analysis in Excel.
STATGRAPHICS Sigma express is an “add-in” for Microsoft Excel that enables users to perform various calculations required when learning or applying Six Sigma. It adds a menu selection to Excel containing sections for each item of the DMAIC paradigm (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) plus additional menu items for Tools and Help. The contents are sufficient to cover the needs of green belts and many black belts. In addition, it is similar enough to STATGRAPHICS Centurion that users can easily upgrade to that product if they need additional statistical capabilities. The program is available in two versions – Statistician Lite (Free), and Statistician Standard which includes many additional statistical models and functions. Statistician works in a unique way when compared to other Excel based statistical analysis software. Most importantly, it allows the user to store a data set and perform multiple analyses on it, a method used by all high end statistical software, but lacking in many other Excel add-ins which require the user to reselect data over and over again when they return to the spreadsheet. StatTools covers the most commonly used statistical procedures, and offers unprecedented capabilities for adding new, custom analyses.
StatTools replaces Excel’s built-in statistics functions with its own calculations. The accuracy of Excel’s built-in statistics calculations has often been questioned, so StatTools doesn’t use them. All StatTools functions are true Excel functions, and behave exactly as native Excel functions do. Over 30 wide-ranging statistical procedures plus 9 built-in data utilities include forecasts, time series, descriptive statistics, normality tests, group comparisons, correlation, regression analysis, quality control, nonparametric tests, and more. StatTools features live, “hot-linked” statistics calculations. Change a value in your dataset and your statistics report automatically updates. There is no need to manually re-run your analyses.
Using UNISTAT as Excel addin is easy. All you need to do is select a block of data and then select a procedure from the UNISTAT menus. UNISTAT’s procedure dialogues are intuitive to use and you will not feel as if you are dealing with another program. By default, UNISTAT will create its output in a new Excel worksheet. You will also have the option to send the same output to Word or HTML for the web. All numeric results from UNISTAT have up to 15-digit precision, though you can choose to display them with only the desired number of digits. This prevents the build-up of rounding errors when output from one procedure is used as input for another procedure.
