We can't detect if the Citrix Receiver is already installed. HTML client has certain restrictions related to the access to the local files. Mac OS X 10.9 or later. A working Internet connection. Citrix Receiver 12.9.1. Note that 'Read and Write' grants permission to save files to your computer's file system.
Good Morning! I'm having some issues while trying to use Receiver for Macintosh: We've an iMac and a Mac Pro both running OSX El Capitan; With the Mac Pro, after importing the correct certificates I've absolutely no problems running a VDA with XenDesktop. However, I cannot get the iMac to work in any way: The user can log just fine on our Netscaler portal, but when he tryies to run the assigned Desktop an error pops out saying 'Cannot write connection file CitrixID'; after some Googling I found similar topics describing the same issue saying that the main culprit is a file called 'Modules' located in 'User Library Application Support Citrix Receiver' that sometimes is erroneously set as 'Read Only' by the installer.
As described I deleted the file and run the installer again in order to recreate it, however the result didn't change, so I tryied to manually set the permission of this file to 'Everyone - Read & Write', but again. No success Can anyone help me? Thank you in advance!
